IN STUDIO PRIVATE ART LESSON | 2-6 Adult Students
How to Book
To book your Private Art lesson (s) Please make your selection in the drop down menu below + fill out our booking form that will pop up after you make your selection.
Please note we require bookings 48 hours in advance of your preferred date and time.
We need time to process your booking and check availability for the appropriate art instructor for your lesson. Once we receive your booking we will email you a booking confirmation within 24 hours. If your preferred date and time is not available we will offer another date/ time option.When booking your private art lesson, please keep in mind that certain media requires more time, for example Oil Painting or mixed media, so you would need a minimum of a 2 hour session for any painting project.
We best match you with the appropriate instructor based on your chosen medium, or you can request the teacher of your choice. To find out more about our instructors please CLICK HERE

Art Supplies
For Drawing Media: All drawing materials are included in the fee; the use of pencil, pastels, charcoal, inks + paper. However we do recommend bringing your own personal sketchbook so you can track your progress at home.
For Painting Media: The use of brushes, paint: choice of acrylic, watercolor or oils are all supplied. One canvas is supplied in the choice of sizes: 8x10, 11x14, 16x20
Larger Size canvas are NOT SUPPLIED. If you are looking to paint on a larger canvas, please purchase your own canvas and bring with you to your lesson, as these.
For Mixed Media Study: For Collage or Mixed Media we invite you to bring your own supplies that inspire you, colored papers, newspapers, fabric swatches, threads, wires, wool or anything that takes your fancy. One canvas will be supplied in the choice of sizes: 8x10, 11x14, 16x20. Larger Size canvas are NOT SUPPLIED. If you are looking to paint on a larger canvas, please purchase your own canvas and bring with you to your lesson, as these.
Speciality Art Supplies: Pouring mediums or finishing glosses are NOT SUPPLIED. If you require these materials please purchase & bring with you to class. If you need more help please don’t hesitate to email us.
We recommend purchasing all of your Art Supplies in your local neighborhood art store to support small business.
SAFETY GUIDELINE UPDATES
Masks will be optional for all private art classes held in our studio from September 1.
Those who prefer to wear a face covering are encouraged to do so. *Therefore please do not assume that those wearing a mask are unvaccinated.
Students and staff, regardless of vaccination status, are required to wear a mask when:
Returning to CWAS on the sixth day after testing positive for COVID-19, through day 10 after symptom onset or date of positive test, whichever is earlier.
Exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
Students + staff, regardless of vaccination status, are strongly recommended to wear a mask:
When they were exposed to someone with COVID-19, whether the exposure occurred in the studio or outside the studio. The person should wear a mask for 10 days after their last day of exposure and get tested at least 24 hours apart on day 4 and day 5 of their exposure.
When they are moderately to severely immunocompromised and masking is recommended by their healthcare provider.
Health + Safety Best Practices:
We continue to ask anyone attending our programs and events to follow best practices when it comes to general health + safety protocols.
We will continue to ask clients NOT to attend our programs when exhibiting any symptoms of illnesses that would be contagious.
We continue to ask students to be respectful of each other
Pick-up and drop-off personnel must remain outside the studio to help reduce traffic at our studio + keep everyone safe! If you have anyone picking you up please let them know to collect you outside the studio.
Thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols will remain in effect throughout our studio
We continue to ask students to follow good hygiene habits, including the use of hand sanitizer . Hand-sanitizing stations will remain throughout our studio.
We encourage all students to wash their hands upon entry to the studio and to hand sanitize.
