Creatively Wild offers private art classes in our studio in DUMBO. We offer customized professional tuition that provides you with the support and feedback essential for your goals. Whether you’re a beginner who might be intimidated by a group class, an artist who likes to work at your own pace, or a more experienced artist looking for inspiration, private classes are perfect for you!

Had the best time! This place is creatively awesome! My niece and I went for a private lesson and we learned a ton, experienced new techniques and had an analyzing fun time along the way. HOW TO BOOK

  • Select your class package at least 48 hours in advance. The more date/time options and the more specific you can be about your goals, the better!

  • Fill out the pop-up booking form

  • We’ll match you with the appropriate instructor based on your chosen medium and goals

  • We’ll email you with teacher, date, and time confirmation

HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD I BOOK?

Different media require different amounts of time. If you are unsure of what you need to achieve your goals, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

  • For toddlers (2-4), we recommend 1-hour sessions

  • For younger kids (4-6), we recommend 1.5-hour sessions

  • For older kids and teens (7+), we recommend 2-hour sessions

  • For adults, we recommend 2+ hour sessions

FLEXIBLE SIGN-UP OPTIONS

  • Enroll on your schedule (dates, times, and session length)

  • Enroll in repeat lessons or do a one-off

WHAT WE TEACH

  • DRAWING: basic drawing and illustration, graphic novels, storyboarding, cartooning, anime/manga, portfolio development

  • PAINTING: traditional, landscape, portraiture, master artist techniques, abstract, self-expression

  • DIGITAL ART: Procreate, Photoshop, stop-motion animation

  • MIXED MEDIA: collage, found object art, 3D works

ART SUPPLIES

  • Drawing: all drawing materials are included in the fee: the use of pencil, pastels, charcoal, inks, paper, etc. We highly recommend bringing a personal sketchbook so you can track your progress.

  • Painting : The use of brushes, paint (acrylic, watercolor, or oils) are supplied. One canvas per person is supplied: 8x10, 11x14, or 16x20. Larger canvases are NOT supplied. If you plan to work larger, please purchase your canvas and bring it to your lesson.

  • Mixed Media: we have a plethora of collage an dmixed media supplies at our studio, but we encourage you to bring anything that inspires you: photographs, newspaper clippings, magazines, trinkets, fabrics, etc. One canvas per person is supplied: 8x10, 11x14, or 16x20. Larger canvases are NOT supplied. If you plan to work larger, please purchase your canvas and bring it to your lesson.

  • Speciality Materials: pouring mediums or finishing glosses are NOT supplied. If you require these materials please purchase them & bring them with you to class. If you need more help choosing supplies please don’t hesitate to email us.
